December 2020
You enjoyed putting the village up on the mantle and all the little animals that went along with it. Mom loves her teapot and teacup collection too.
Making coffee, real or pretend, is a fun thing to do!
Pops and Grammy make these cutouts for our house!
Playdoh fun!
Admiring the tree at Pops and Grammy’s house.
Mommy loves visits at school, but since it’s cold outside now we have to stay in the car.
Mommy made our wreath in Grammy’s wreath maker. No bazaar this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the move started to their Quincy house.
You enjoyed dancing to Christmas music a lot this year. This time, you got too hot and decided to get naked!
Mommy and Daddy created an advent tree activity for Children’s Ministry at our church. You enjoyed coloring the ornaments and putting them up!
You enjoyed Christmas Milk (eggnog) a lot!
Grammy and Gramps delivered the things to make a gingerbread house and we did Skype with them so they could watch you make it. Grammy makes them from scratch!
Going to Quincy Market is one of our favorite things to do! There’s plenty of space for social distancing and it’s a great place to get coffee and sit for awhile. Their decorations this year were fun! You really liked the gingerbread train!
You continue to really enjoy your Brio train sets and making a track a couple times each week. Daddy is getting really good at making cool tracks.
Mommy’s dress up day for the last day of school before break. “SO festive!”
We baked so many cookies with auntie Bekah (Kaylor) and Grammy Nette!
Hot cocoa! You LOVE IT. “Just right for boys!” (Temperature)
Leavenworth snow pile! 12/23
These mini cupcakes were made for one of mommy’s coworkers. Just the right size for the elf!
Neighbor Rod and Teri gave you a set of five new monster trucks for Christmas! They love watching you play!
Kent and Kim Bacon dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus with the fire department. Their sleigh was pulled around town to visit all of the streets of Quincy. When they drove by Grammy Nette and Pop’s house, Santa said “Merry Christmas, Samuel!” And you were SO excited that Santa knew your name. You also loved the candy “popping out!”
