Eight Months

At eight months old, you have started cruising around in your walker, and reaching out for us. You are in 9 month clothes still, but have moved up in 12 months in some things. We had to buy you new socks again because you enjoy taking them off and sucking on them, or throwing them around. Turk is your favorite buddy, and you've started to babble at him and look around for him. He loves you, too, and often lets you pull on his hair and snuggle nearby. 

You are eating so many more things, and have tried chicken and peanut butter this month. You loved both! Corn seems to bother your stomach, so we've been avoiding it. You are enjoying your blue sippy cup with water in it, and have lots of fun throwing it and chewing on it, too. 

This past month we went to our leadership retreat for church, and you really enjoyed the worship time. It is one of mommy's favorite times with you because you like music so much. You have been raising your hands up and kicking your feet. It is really precious!

You continue to be extremely social and you enjoy meeting people. You don't have much stranger anxiety, but we don't let very many people hold you. Even so, you smile at everyone. During Bible study on Wednesday nights, you love talking to the ladies and roll all over to see everyone.

Hannah Winkler will continue to come on Wednesdays to play with you while daddy goes to work, even though Grammy will be home from New Zealand. You enjoy your time with Hannah and get so excited when she comes over. 

We are really excited about all of the things you're learning how to do! We love being your parents!
